The goal is to enable each citizen to monitor their health status throughout life, with access to pharmaceutical and wellness services whenever necessary.

The Ageas Portugal Group and the Asssociação Nacional de Farmácias (ANF) are launching a pioneering health and primary care prevention solution in Portugal. As of launch, the 700,000 clients with Médis health insurance are immediately given access to a wide range of services provided in pharmacies, under preferential conditions. Assessment of body mass index, administration of vaccines and injectables, measurement of blood pressure and heart rate are part of this offer of services provided by pharmacists and other health professionals, such as nutritionists. The 2 million Portuguese with a Health Card, from Portuguese Pharmacies, will have special conditions of adhesion to the health insurance Médis Saúde.

Go Far, a company that results from this new partnership, combines the know-how and services of the Médis insurer with the proximity and trust of the Portuguese in the Pharmacy network. The Portuguese Pharmacies are now integrated into the Médis Provider Network, allowing all Médis Customers to automatically reimburse the services they provide.
