The VIII Edition of the OCI Awards, which took place on January 24 at EDP, honored the CEO of Ageas Portugal Group Steven Braekeveldt as "Inspiring Leader". The distinction is a premiere in the awarding of awards this year, and aims to reward a leader of a company that stands out for its stance and attitude in the business context.

The ceremony was presided over by Rita Nabeiro, CEO of Adega Mayor, and distinguished projects in seven categories: Integrated Internal Communication Strategy, Innovation in Internal Communication, Change Management, Best International Campaign, Digital Transformation, Inspiring Leader and Academic Work on Internal Communication.

The award recognizes the commitment of the CEO to create close ties with the approximately 1,300 employees of the Ageas Portugal Group and its partners. This upcoming relationship translates into simplicity and inspirational discourse and participation in internal and external events, such as: Community Dinner (of Social Solidarity Week); Project to support the victims of Pedrógão Grande; Support for Breast Cancer Prevention and the Congo Mission.
