Clínica Médis
The dental industry is Médis latest bet to continue to respond to the health needs of the Portuguese. After having launched in October this year the Médis Dental insurance, the first health insurance in the market with exclusive coverage of dental medicine, the insurer now launches a network of dental clinics with the brand Clínica Médis.
The first clinic has already opened in Lisbon, in the Amoreiras area, and marks the entry of Médis into the provision of dental health services. Clínica Médis aims to provide access to oral health care for all Portuguese, even those who do not have Médis insurance. The expansion plan contemplates the opening of about 30 clinics in the next 4 years in the main urban areas.
"The creation of this own network of dental clinics follows the repositioning of the Médis brand as a Personal Health Service and constitutes another important step in the strategy of providing quality services to all Portuguese with the Médis logo. We want to make oral health care accessible by offering a disruptive experience focused on the real needs of the client", says Médis CEO Eduardo Consiglieri Pedroso.
Clínica Médis presents a proposal of innovative value based on a differentiating client experience and high quality health care. In addition to the bet on the digital side with the possibility of pre-booking of online consultations and the availability of automatic check-in and check-out, Médis Clinic brings a disruptive shop concept, with extended hours, and an experienced medical team and confidence in equipment and innovative technology to provide a service of excellence to each patient.
With the launch of a network of own dental clinics, more than a health insurance, Médis intends to create a true Personal Health Service, adapted to the needs of each person and be the health partner of its Customers, with new solutions and services based on strong partnerships, consolidating the commitment not only to customers, but also to all Portuguese.
