Ageas Seguros, as a longtime partner of the Order of Physicians, supported the First Meeting of the Medical Internship of the Zona Centro - training counselors and internal physicians.

The initiative took place on November 16 in the Diatosta auditorium of Hospital Infante D. Pedro of the Hospital Center of Baixo Vouga (CHBV) and, according to the Regional Section of the Center of the Order of Physicians, intended to highlight the practices of excellence in medical education in the central region, with emphasis on the district of Aveiro; to create a space for reflection on postgraduate medical training, with scientific sessions and presentation of research work and to reinforce the relationship between training supervisors and internal physicians.

During the event prizes were awarded for the works that stood out for their relevance to medical training at the boarding school. Ageas Seguros supported the first prize of € 4,000 in the category "Best Free Communications", applicable in a foreign training or training course, and the winner was Dr. Nádia Laezza with the project "Being a Guidance for Specific Training in Surgical Specialties".
