Grupo Ageas Portugal continues hand-in-hand with the Arts Festival, in the sequence of its Cultural bet as a strategic axis for the positioning of the brand and contributing to the development of the society.
"Light and Shadow" is the motto of the 11th edition of this Festival, which takes place between July 19th and 28th, at the remarkable Quinta das Lágrimas, the birthplace of the tragic love story between Pedro and Inês. The programming for the Arts Festival is wide and cross-sectorial to various areas. Throughout ten days, music, dance, gastronomy and cinema will take over Coimbra.
"Jorge de Sena – Literary voyage between Coimbra and Figueira da Foz", takes place on July 20th, and is inspired in the life and work of the poet.
On the day 23, Sophia de Mello Breyner is remembered with "Tudo Quanto Vi", a performance connecting poetry and dance by the choreographer Fernando Duarte and interpreted by the dance company Dança em Diálogos. A show integrating poetry and music, metamorphosing Sophia’s words in moving images.
Ageas drive-in cinema session is scheduled for the day 20. The audience will be able to watch the movie “Cinema Paradiso” and surprises are bond to happen.
Grupo Ageas Portugal, as the sponsor of the event, has tickets available to offer its collaborators for the dance performance "Tudo Quanto Vi" and for the concert "Alma Nuestra" with Salvador Sobral, on July 25th. For the other shows, taking place in the Amphitheatre Colina de Camões, all Clients holding a Médis Card or World Card Ageas Seguros, will benefit from a 3€ discount (subject to the presentation of the card in the ticket office of the Arts Festival).
