On May 28th, the Ageas building at Parque das Nações welcomed 24 Economics and Management students from the Nova School of Business and Economics.
With the privilege of being welcomed by the CEO, Steven Braekeveldt, the Study Trip participants had the opportunity to learn more about career opportunities that Grupo Ageas Portugal provides, through the presentation of Marta Melo, responsible for the Recruitment area.
Every year, Grupo Ageas Portugal organizes this initiative – in partnership with Nova SBE – and includes several interim speakers. This year, Inês Simões, Communications and Brand Manager, was responsible for presenting the identity of Grupo Ageas, depicting its mission, vision and values.
Innovation was a key theme of the day, and therefore featured Katrien Buys, with a presentation overviewing the partnership established with Singularity University, one of the projects that allows us to step outside the box of the traditional insurance market.
Within this scope, Henrique Figueiredo, former student of Nova SBE and Collaborator in the area of Innovations, spoke about his professional path, roles and ideation process in Ageas Portugal – as a differentiating element of the Grupo Ageas Portugal.
Rúben São Marcos, who is now the manager of the Médis Next Level project, shared some of his experience as a former student and current Collaborator with Grupo Ageas Portugal.
Through these initiative, we believe to have succeeded in levelling the interests of students with what Grupo Ageas Portugal has to offer, assuming our position as an employer of reference.
