Following its success in 2017 and 2018, Ageas Seguros, once again, sponsors the Paiva Footbridge Trail, which took place this weekend (May 12^th) in the region of Arouca.

The “Ageas Seguros Paiva Footbridge Trail” is a  25km race that will unfold in region of extreme beauty, specially the mountains surrounding the Paiva Footbridge. More that just a race, "Ageas Seguros Paiva Footbridge Trail" is a challenge that will test the athletes’ physical endurance, fair play, self-control, management of capacities and strategies.

There is a mobile app for Android and iPhone smartphones, where you can check the list of registered athletes, follow live, support competing athletes, share photos, consult the regulation, places of interest, etc.

Participants in Ageas Seguros Paiva Footbridge Trail had the opportunity to explore trails inserted in unique landscapes with singular features, frequently alternating between fluvial, forest, agricultural environments and typical villages, circulating, in the final phase, on a section of Paiva’s Footbridge until crossing the finish line. Simultaneously with the competition (race), it also took place a high-difficulty hike (official classification) and of non-competitive nature in the Footbridge.
