Impact school

The Impact School is a Social Entrepreneurship and Innovation programme launched by the Ageas Foundation, in partnership with Impact Hub Lisbon.

Its objective is to enable and create employability conditions for people in situations of social vulnerability. "From experience to idea and from idea to action!" is the purpose of this program, which aims to give each participant tools to create a business and skills to integrate the labor market.

Intended beneficiaries

The 2 first editions of the Impact School are intended for people:

  • Aged over 30 years old and completed minimum schooling (9th year);
  • In situations of social vulnerability (unemployment or precarious employment);
  • With 5 years of professional experience;
  • Who want to transform their know-how and experience into employability;
  • With motivation and ability to embrace a challenge aimed at reinserting them in the labour market;
  • Identified and monitored by a recognised institution (IPSS, Social Support Office at Parish Councils or Professional Insertion Offices).

Recognitions

The Impact School program was recognized and awarded by three external entities:

- Portuguese Association of Business Ethics (APEE) with the Diploma of Recognition of Social Responsibility Practices, in the Community category;

- Marketing Awards of Meios & Publicidade magazine in the Social Responsibility category;

- Fundacom Awards in the External Campaign category - Governmental entities, associations and NGOs.
